Environmental protection

CPFP, JSC strives to minimize its environmental impact by gradually reducing emissions and discharges of pollutants, reducing waste generation, and by increasing waste utilization.

In addition, our plant is working to improve technological processes, investing in new environmental equipment.

Due to the application of modern equipment and new production technologies, the use of synthetic resins per production unit was reduced by 30%. The amount of dust during chipboard sanding has been reduced by 5 times.

In 2018, CPFP, JSC became a winner of the competition “100 Best Organizations in Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management”. The company was awarded a diploma and a gold medal – one of the most significant public environmental awards.

CPFP has developed a system of measures to prevent and reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Main environmental measures are aimed at reducing emissions of formaldehyde and wood dust into the atmosphere. At CPFP, JSC, the industrial control of the sources of pollutant emissions to the atmosphere is carried out in accordance with an approved schedule. Also, the atmospheric air is monitored at the boundary of the sanitary protection zone of CPFP, JSC.

REFERENCE

The main sources of wood dust emissions at the plant are equipped with dust and gas purification devices – filter sleeves, which are subject to annual replacement for efficiency. In order to reduce dust emissions, filter sleeves at Steinemann and Bison filters, the German filter Dieffenbacher, and the aspiration system Consar were replaced. Measures on the repair of the pneumatic conveying of chipboard workshop were performed.

REFERENCE
In 2018, as part of the implementation of environmental protection measures and compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation, a project of maximum permissible atmospheric emissions was developed. A positive sanitary and epidemiological conclusion was received from Rospotrebnadzor Office. Rosprirodnadzor Office for Vologda Region issued a permit for pollutant emissions.

CPFP, JSC has no discharges into water bodies, all effluents are directed to the municipal treatment facilities of MUP Vodokanal. Every year the company carries out water protection measures, work on the optimization of water use and the quality of wastewater discharge to the treatment facilities of MUP Vodokanal of Cherepovets is carried out on an ongoing basis.

In 2018, in the water protection zone of the Yagorba River, the design and arrangement of a drainage system along railroad tracks No. 7 under a KB-3 crane was carried out, ensuring the protection of the water body from pollution.

At CPFP, JSC, 96% of waste is used and disposed in production.

The existing production technology provides for the complete use of raw materials and ensures the plant’s high economic efficiency, confirming its environmental responsibility.
